Anaya had just moved into her new house. It was small, quiet, and perfect—

except for one room.

The room was always locked.

The landlord said it was empty.

One night, while reading a story in English, Anaya heard a soft voice calling her name.

“Anaya…”

She froze.

The sound came from the locked room.

Trying to stay calm, she told herself it was just the wind. Old houses made strange noises. Still, the voice came again—closer this time.

“Why did you lock me inside?”

Her hands trembled as she walked toward the door. The lock was cold when she touched it.

She unlocked the door and slowly pushed it open.

The room was completely empty.

No furniture. No windows. No dust.

Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind her.

Her phone buzzed with a notification from the house security app.
